We Love our Volunteers!

Want to experience a bit of the work of farm life?

Bring a water bottle and dress in something you don’t mind getting dirty and appropriate for the weather. Make sure you can shred clothes as it can get hot really fast.

Whole families with children of all ages are welcome to volunteer here on the farm. Everyone must sign a waiver when coming on the farm.

We can accommodate volunteers Monday – Saturday – hours fluctuate with the season. If you’re looking for educational events you can sign up for those on the event page on our site.  You can choose to come when you want. Depending on the season will depend on what will need done.

Spring Hours (March –  May): 9 A.M. – 5 P.M.

Summer Hours (June – August): 7 A.M. – 1 P.M.

Fall Hours (September – November): 9 A.M. – 5 P.M.

Winter Hours (December – February): 11 A.M. – 3 P.M.

Please understand that volunteering will involve physical work in varying environmental conditions such as dirt, heat, cold, wind, and mud, both outdoors and in greenhouses. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, weeding, watering, planting, digging, lifting, and harvesting. Our aim is to match you with tasks that match your abilities and interests, as we value all contributions equally.

Committing to a consistent weekly volunteering schedule allows you to expand your skills, experience different tasks, and become proficient at them, which in turn benefits the farm. If your availability varies, the tasks may become more routine, such as focused on weeding or specific chores.

The frequency of your volunteering depends on your prior farming or gardening experience, availability, willingness to learn, and your collaborative attitude. We prioritize a ‘farm-first’ mindset, as the farm’s success is our collective goal.

If you have specific skills, ideas, or contributions you believe would benefit the farm, we encourage you to share them with us.
